Questions and answers
- When does Artisan Series go on sale?
- KitchenAid and major retailers discount Artisan mixers most around Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Mother's Day. Bundle deals with attachments, like the slicer/shredder set, tend to appear outside those windows as well.
- Where is the Artisan Series 5 Quart cheapest?
- Prices vary by retailer and bundle. On this page the slicer/shredder bundle is $451.25 at 220-Electronics.com as of the listing date, a 44% saving; compare against other stores' prices for the same bundle before buying.
- What is the Artisan Series 5 Quart best for?
- It handles doughs, cake batter, whipped cream, and cookie dough with its 10 speeds and 5-quart bowl, enough for about 9 dozen cookies per batch. The tilt-head design gives easier access to the bowl than a bowl-lift model.
- What does the Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder attachment do?
- It mounts on the mixer's hub and slices or shreds vegetables and cheese directly into the bowl. It comes with multiple blade options for coarse and fine cuts.
- What is the return policy?
- Returns depend on the store, not KitchenAid. Check 220-Electronics.com's return window and condition rules before ordering, since mixer bundles are bulky to ship back.
