Questions and answers
- Which is better for a first apartment?
- The KIVIK is the simpler buy: one sofa, a 10-year warranty and $899.00 at ModeSens as of November 3, 2026. The Evansley makes more sense if you need to fill a living room in one order.
- Which has better seat support?
- The KIVIK uses pocket springs with foam, which gives firmer, more adaptive support. The Evansley uses foam cushions with bolster pillows, which buyers describe as softer lounging.
- Which is easier to clean?
- Both have removable, machine-washable covers. KIVIK owners report the covers are hard to put back on after washing, so plan for that.
- Is the KIVIK worth the extra over the Evansley?
- They are not directly comparable: the KIVIK price buys one sofa, while the Evansley is a multi-piece set. Compare the Evansley set price to $899.00 for the KIVIK as of November 3, 2026.
- Which lasts longer?
- The KIVIK carries a 10-year limited warranty, which is the stronger durability signal. The Evansley lists no warranty, though its washable covers help with wear.
- How big is the KIVIK compared with the Evansley sofa?
- They are close: the KIVIK is 228 cm long, and the Evansley sofa is 89 in wide. The Evansley set adds a 66 in loveseat and a 51 in chair, so it needs much more floor space.
