Is the Deluxe Edition worth the extra money?

Only if you want the Joker and Harley Quinn mission, Mayhem Mode and the themed suit packs. The main story, characters and open world are identical in both versions.

Which version has more content?

The Deluxe Edition. It adds three themed packs, the Mayhem Collection and the Sinister Pack on top of the full base game.

Are both versions the same game?

Yes. Both are the TT Games open-world Batman game on Nintendo Switch 2 with the same 7 playable characters and 100 suits.

Which has better ratings?

Both sit at 4.8 out of 5. The Deluxe has 98 ratings and the standard has 39.

Do I need an internet connection?

The Deluxe listing states an internet connection is required. Check the store page for the standard edition before buying.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Deluxe Edition - Nintendo Switch 2 vs LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight - Nintendo Switch 2 Game

Buy the standard edition unless you know you will play the extra content. Both are the same TT Games open-world Batman game on Switch 2, and the Deluxe adds three themed suit packs, the Mayhem Collection with a Joker and Harley Quinn story mission and Mayhem Mode, and extra Batcave props. The Deluxe carries a higher list price for that content, so the standard is the better value for most players. Check the current prices at each store before you commit.
