Can I use the Novilla mattress on the Lucid frame?

Yes. The Lucid is a platform frame with grid-style slats and needs no box spring, so a 12-inch twin mattress sits directly on it.

Which is better for a small room?

The Lucid adds 13 inches of underbed storage, which helps in small rooms. The Novilla is just a mattress, so it frees no floor space on its own.

Do I need a box spring with either?

No. The Lucid's slats support a mattress directly, and the Novilla is designed to sit on a platform or adjustable base.

The Lucid frame is $138.83 at Overstock as of November 4, 2026. The Novilla mattress is $169.99 at Amazon as of the same date.

Is the Novilla mattress good for back pain?

Some reviewers report less low back pain and numbness on its medium feel. Others report defects, so experiences are mixed.

Does the Lucid frame fit a twin mattress?

Yes. The twin version fits a standard twin mattress like the 39-by-75-inch Novilla.
