Which is better for a stray or feral cat?

The two-story Petsfit. Its escape door gives a trapped cat a second way out, and the upper level lets it watch from above. The single-level house has one opening and one room.

Is the two-story worth the extra $34?

If you want a second level and an escape door, yes. If you just need a dry, sheltered box for a cat, the single-level at $56.98 covers that for less.

Which fits two cats better?

The single-level house. Its 86.4 cm depth and 45.7 cm width give one wide floor for two cats to share. The two-story is 20 in x 20 in per level, so each level is tighter.

Which lasts longer outdoors?

Both are sold as weatherproof. The single-level pairs a wood frame with a PVC roof; the two-story uses Finnish spruce. Neither listing gives a warranty, so expect to reseal or cover the wood over time.

Do either need assembly?

The single-level house requires assembly and includes tools. The two-story listing does not state assembly requirements, so check the box contents before you buy.
