Which is better for a beginner?

The Ram set, because nine forgiving hybrid irons cover most of the bag. The Stealth 2 HD is a useful add-on later, not a starting set.

Is the Stealth 2 HD worth the extra over the Ram set?

It is not extra: at $119.95 at eBay it costs less than the $249.99 Ram set at Amazon. They serve different slots, so compare them only if you are choosing where to spend a limited budget.

Both are steel or titanium-faced clubs that last years with normal use. The Ram set has nine clubs to wear, while the Stealth 2 HD is one club with a titanium face.

Will the Stealth 2 HD fix my slice?

It has internal draw bias and a high-launch, low-spin design that helps, but it will not cure a steep out-to-in swing. Expect a straighter ball flight, not a guaranteed fix.

Can I use the Ram sand wedge around the green?

Yes. The set includes a 56° sand wedge, which is the listed top use case for chipping and bunker play.

Is the Stealth 2 HD left-handed?

The title says left hand, but the listed specs say right handed. Confirm handedness with the seller before you buy.

Ram Golf Laser Graphite Hybrid Irons Set 4-SW, Mens Left Hand, Senior vs Stealth 2 HD Fairway Wood #3 Graphite Senior Flex Left Hand

These are not substitutes: the Ram set is nine hybrid irons (4-SW) for a left-handed senior who wants one forgiving full set, while the TaylorMade Stealth 2 HD is a single 16° draw-bias 3-wood. At the November 3, 2026 prices, the Stealth 2 HD is far cheaper at $119.95 at eBay than the Ram set at $249.99 at Amazon, but it fills one slot in the bag, not nine. Buy the Ram set to replace your irons; buy the Stealth 2 HD to add a forgiving fairway wood.

Today the Stealth 2 HD Fairway Wood #3 Graphite Senior Flex Left Hand costs $130.04 less at its best price.
