Questions and answers
- Are the Salomon Sight Wide and K2 Indy a matched pair?
- Yes. The Indy's 4-hole mount fits the Sight Wide's 4x2 inserts. The Indy's medium flex also suits the board's medium flex for all-mountain riding.
- Which should I buy first if I have neither?
- Buy the board first if you have no board, then add bindings. A board without bindings cannot be ridden, while bindings without a board are useless.
- Is the K2 Indy worth $160.39?
- It is a mid-range binding with tool-less adjustment and a canted footbed, which is fair at that price. Cheaper bindings usually drop the aluminum ratchets and canting.
- Will the Sight Wide fit my boots?
- The 163W has a 26.4 cm waist, sized for boots roughly US 11 and up. Riders under about 154 lbs should look at a shorter size.
- Can I use the K2 Indy for freestyle?
- Yes. K2 lists it for all-mountain and freestyle, and the medium flex is soft enough for park laps while still stable on groomers.
- How much do both cost together?
- About $430 at the November 3, 2026 prices: $269.97 for the Sight Wide at UtahSkis and $160.39 for the Indy at Amazon.
