About the Takara Tomy Pokemon Moncolle MB-02 Great Ball Figure

The Takara Tomy Pokemon Moncolle MB-02 Great Ball Figure is a life-size, 16 cm replica of the Great Ball Poké Ball from the Moncolle line, made of PVC and ABS and aimed at ages 4 and up. It is a display or role-play prop, not a toy that opens and holds figures, and the Pikachu shown in some photos is sold separately. Its only recorded price is $7.99, so there is no recent range to compare against. At that price it is a cheap shelf piece for Poké Ball collectors.

    Questions and answers

    Is it worth $7.99?

Does the ball open to hold Pokémon figures?
No. The Moncolle MB-02 is a fixed display replica, so it does not hinge open and store figures inside.
    Is Pikachu included?
No. The listing states the Moncolle Pikachu figure is not included; only the Great Ball is in the box.
    How big is it?
It is 16 cm tall, 8.5 cm deep and 7 cm wide, described as life-size for a Great Ball, and weighs 60 g.
    What age is it for?
Takara Tomy lists a minimum age of 4. It has no small batteries and needs no assembly.
    When is it cheapest?
The only recorded daily price is $7.99 on October 30, 2026, so there is no lower point to wait for yet.
