About the Karastan Euphoria New Ross Area Rug

The Karastan Euphoria New Ross is a machine-woven transitional runner, 2 feet by 7'10", with a dense 0.62-inch cut pile and a silk-blend face. It is built for indoor use with stain resistance and a nonslip backing, so it works in hallways and entryways without a separate pad. At $293.97 at Macy's as of November 6, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, with only two stores pricing it new.

    Questions and answers

Is $293.97 a good price for the Euphoria New Ross runner?
It is the best new price found as of November 6, 2026, at Macy's, and it sits at the low end of its recent range. Only two stores list it new, so comparison options are thin.
Does this rug need a rug pad?
No. It has a nonslip backing, so a pad is optional. A thin pad still adds cushioning on hard floors.
What is the pile height and will it fit under doors?
The pile is 0.62 inches with a 0.50-inch, 12 mm thickness. Measure door clearance before placing it in a doorway.
Can the silk-blend rug be machine washed?
No. Spot clean with a mild detergent and blot dry. Vacuum without a beater bar to protect the silk fibers.
    What size is this rug?
It is a runner measuring 2 feet wide by 7'10" long, in a rectangular shape.
Where does it work best in a home?
Indoor hallways, entryways and galley kitchens suit the runner length. The stain-resistant finish helps in high-traffic spots.
