Is the Edifier GX worth it at $43.97?

At $43.97 it is at its lowest price since October 30, 2026, so it is a reasonable buy if you want a wired PC headset with a boom mic. It competes on features, not on premium build.

Does it work with a PS5 or Xbox?

The 3.5 mm connection should work with any standard headphone jack, including controllers. The listing names PC as the compatible device, so check console support before buying.

How do the three connections work?

The headset supports 3.5 mm, USB and USB-C, and the USB cable is 2 m long. USB and USB-C give you the digital connection; 3.5 mm covers devices without a USB audio path.

Does the microphone cancel noise?

It uses dual ENC microphones with a retractable boom and omnidirectional pickup. ENC reduces background noise on your voice for the people listening, but it is not active noise cancellation for you.

Is it noise cancelling for the wearer?

No. The ENC works on the microphone, not on what you hear, and the leatherette pads only passively block some sound.

When is the price lowest?

The lowest daily price since October 30, 2026 was $43.97 on October 31, 2026, and the highest was $49.99 on October 30, 2026. The spread is about $6, so waiting for a big drop is unlikely to pay off.
