About the Setohet 26 inch Electric Bike for Adults 750W E-Bike with 36V Removable Battery

The Setohet 26-inch electric mountain bike is a budget e-bike with a 750W rear hub motor, a 36V 12Ah removable battery and 26-inch wheels on an aluminum frame with front suspension. It tops out at 20 MPH and is rated for 25-45 miles per charge, with a 7-speed drivetrain and mechanical disc brakes typical of this price class. At $299.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it sits at its only recorded price, so there is no cheaper point in its short price history to wait for. It is a starter e-bike, not a trail machine.

Questions and answers

Is the Setohet 26-inch e-bike worth $299.99?
At $299.99 it is one of the cheapest ways to get a 750W motor and a removable 36V battery. Expect budget components, especially the tires, and plan on replacing them early.
How fast does it go and how far on a charge?
It is capped at 20 MPH. Range is rated 25-45 miles, but owners report closer to the low end if you lean on the motor instead of pedaling.
How long does the battery take to charge?
Several hours to full. The 12Ah battery is removable, so you can charge it indoors or at a desk rather than running a cord to the bike.
Does it come with everything needed to ride?
The box includes the charger, pedals, tool kit and manual. You supply a helmet and lights, and you should check bolt torque after the first few rides.
Is it good for hills?
It handles short grades, but owners say power drops on sustained climbs. Use the 7-speed gearing and pedal hard on steep sections.
When is it cheapest?
Its only recorded price is $299.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, so there is no lower point to wait for. Watch for holiday sales if you are not in a hurry.
