Is the Homelegance Heisley sofa worth it?

At $479 at Ornate Home as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get two reclining seats in a small footprint. Expect budget materials: the faux leather and cushions are the parts most likely to show wear within a few years.

Does it need to sit against a wall?

Yes. It is a manual push-back recliner, not a wall-hugger, so leave several inches behind it for the back to tilt. The 39-inch depth grows when both seats are fully reclined.

How many people can sit on it?

It is a two-seat sofa, 71 inches wide, with each seat rated to 300 lb. It suits two adults; it is not a three-seater.

Is the faux leather easy to clean?

Yes. Wipe spills with a damp cloth and mild soap, and avoid harsh solvents. Beige faux leather can pick up dye from dark jeans, so treat stains quickly.

The sofa ships in sections with the back removed, plus the legs and hardware. Assembly is mostly attaching the backs and feet; no tools beyond the included hardware are usually needed.

Reclining sofas tend to drop during holiday sales and clearance events. Compare the four new listings before buying; the spread between stores can be meaningful on furniture this size.
