About the imarku 9 Piece Kitchen Knife Set with Block and Sharpener

The imarku 9-Piece Kitchen Knife Set bundles forged high-carbon stainless steel knives with a wooden block and a built-in sharpener. The lineup covers everyday jobs: chef knife, santoku, bread, utility, paring and steak knives, plus kitchen shears. At $31.98 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range, which is where this set usually lands. It is a budget set, so expect stamped-light feel and basic steel rather than a lifetime kitchen investment.

Budget steel loses its edge faster than premium knives
  • Stainless handles can feel slippery when wet
  • Hand wash recommended; dishwasher cycles dull edges
  • Block sharpener is coarse, not a fine honing tool

    • What reviewers say

Buyers of budget knife blocks like this one tend to praise the value and the complete lineup, then note that the blades need sharpening sooner than pricier knives. Complaints center on edge retention and handle grip.

    Questions and answers

Is this set worth it at $31.98?
At $31.98 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a full block. It suits light home use, not heavy daily prep.
What is included in the 9 pieces?
The set includes a chef knife, santoku, bread knife, utility knife, paring knife, steak knives, kitchen shears and the block with sharpener.
    Are the knives dishwasher safe?
Hand washing is the safer choice. Dishwasher heat and detergent dull edges and can wear the handles.
How does it compare with a premium knife set?
Premium sets use harder steel and hold an edge longer. This set costs far less but needs more frequent sharpening.
Does the block have a built-in sharpener?
Yes. The block includes a sharpener slot, which is convenient for quick touch-ups between proper sharpenings.
    When is the price lowest?
Budget knife sets like this one tend to dip during holiday sales and back-to-school promotions.
