Is the TEMPUR-ActiveBreeze Medium Hybrid worth $6,399?

It is the only way to get Tempur-Pedic's dual-zone active cooling in a hybrid, and the price includes the ProSmart Air Base. If you mainly want pressure relief, a standard TEMPUR hybrid costs far less. The cooling and the included base are what you are paying for.

How is it different from the regular TEMPUR-Adapt or PRObreeze?

The ActiveBreeze adds fans that push cool or warm air through the mattress and lets each side set its own temperature. The standard hybrids rely on foam and cover materials only, with no active airflow.

Does it need to be plugged in?

Yes. The climate system and the ProSmart Air Base both need power, so plan for outlets near the bed. The fans run quietly but are audible in a silent room.

This listing is 80 inches long, the king length. Check the width and height against your frame before ordering, since the adjustable base is included and sets the footprint.

Can I use it with my own base?

It is sold with the Tempur-Ergo ProSmart Air Base, and the climate system is designed around that setup. Using a different foundation may affect airflow and warranty coverage.

The only price recorded since October 30, 2026 is $6,399 at NB Mattress, with no lower point yet. Tempur-Pedic mattresses typically see their best discounts around major holiday sales, so watch for those.

About the Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-ActiveBreeze Medium Hybrid Mattress

The Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-ActiveBreeze Medium Hybrid is a king-size (80 in long) hybrid mattress that combines ventilated TEMPUR foam with innersprings and adds a dual-zone climate system: each side can be set to cool or warm, and ActiveAir fans push air through the mattress. It ships with the Tempur-Ergo ProSmart Air Base, an adjustable foundation with air controls. The cover is a cool-to-touch SmartClimate Air Cover that zips off and is machine washable. At $6,399 at NB Mattress as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the only price seen since October 30, 2026, so there is no discount history to judge against yet.
