Is the Sevorley Kids Mechanic Truck Engine Set worth $123.08?

It is a solid take-apart toy, but $123.08 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026 is high for this category. Comparable take-apart engine sets often sell for well under $50, so buy it only if the truck-engine format is exactly what you want.

The set is rated for ages 3 and up. The parts are chunky, but the small screws still make it a toy to supervise with younger siblings around.

Does it need batteries?

Yes. It takes AA batteries to run the toy drill, and they are not included. Pick up a pack of AAs so the drill works on the first day.

What comes in the box?

You get the truck engine body, the toy drill, hand tools and the screws and bolts for assembly. Check the listing for the exact tool count before buying.

Only one new price is listed, $123.08 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, so there is no discount to wait for right now. Watch for toy-season sales, when take-apart sets usually drop.
