About the Pinarello F3 105 Di2 Bike

The Pinarello F3 105 Di2 is a carbon road bike built around Shimano's 12-speed 105 Di2 electronic groupset and hydraulic disc brakes. It carries Pinarello's race-derived frame design at a lower price than the Dogma and Prince lines. The latest best new price is $3,666 at Bikeroom as of November 3, 2026, with only one store listing it new, so there is little price competition to shop around.

Best forRoad riders who want electronic shifting without a flagship priceRacers and fast group riders on a carbon frameRiders moving up from mechanical 105 or UltegraBuyers who want hydraulic disc brakes on a Pinarello
Pros
  • Carbon frame with Pinarello's race geometry
  • Shimano 105 Di2 12-speed electronic shifting
  • Hydraulic disc brakes for consistent stopping
  • Clean semi-integrated look with hidden cables
  • Cheaper entry into the Pinarello name than Dogma or Prince
Cons
  • Only one store lists it new, so little price competition
  • 105 Di2 adds cost and charging chores over mechanical 105
  • 1.26-inch (about 32 mm) tires limit it to paved roads
  • Electronic groupset service and battery replacement cost more long term

    • What reviewers say

Owner feedback on the F3 platform is generally positive on handling and ride quality, and 105 Di2 is widely liked for reliable shifting. Complaints tend to focus on value and on the weight of the complete build rather than the frame.

    Pros
    • Sharp, confidence-inspiring handling
    • Smooth, dependable 105 Di2 shifts
    • Comfortable carbon ride for long days
    • Braking power from the hydraulic discs
    Cons
    • Build weight is higher than the price suggests
    • Wheels and finishing kit are modest for the money
    • Electronic charging and setup add hassle

    Questions and answers

Is the Pinarello F3 105 Di2 worth it?
It is a sensible way to get a carbon Pinarello with electronic shifting. At $3,666 at Bikeroom as of November 3, 2026, you pay a brand premium over brands like Giant or Canyon with similar specs.
How does it compare with the Pinarello X or Dogma?
The F3 uses a more affordable carbon layup and simpler tube shapes than the Dogma F, and it is racier than the endurance-focused X. Expect a stiffer, faster feel than the X and a heavier, less exotic ride than the Dogma.
    Does 105 Di2 need charging?
Yes. The 105 Di2 derailleurs run on a central battery that you charge through a port, typically every few weeks depending on riding. Carry a charge before long events.
What tire size does it take?
It ships with 1.26-inch (about 32 mm) tires, and the frame clears road-width rubber in that range. That suits paved roads and light rough surfaces, not gravel.
What is included with the bike?
You get the complete bike as built, with the 105 Di2 groupset, hydraulic brakes and the stock wheels and cockpit. Pedals, bottles and a bike computer are not included.
    When is it cheapest?
With only one new listing, discounts are rare and usually tied to end-of-season or prior-model clearance. Watch for markdowns in late fall and winter.
