Is the Monster E87 worth $49.99?

At $49.99 it is a low-cost way to get ANC, a transparency mode and 70 hours of battery. Expect adequate rather than class-leading noise cancelling.

How good is the noise cancellation?

It has standard, ANC and transparency modes, but Monster's budget ANC does not match Bose or Sony flagships. It is best at steady low noise like engine hum, less so at voices.

How long does the battery really last?

Monster rates it at up to 70 hours, which is with ANC off. Running noise cancellation will cut that figure, but it should still last days of commuting per charge.

Yes. It has a wired audio input, so you can plug in when the battery is empty or on a flight without Bluetooth.

Does it work with laptops and desktops?

Yes. It pairs over Bluetooth 5.4 with phones, laptops and desktops, and the wired input covers machines without Bluetooth.

When is the cheapest time to buy?

The lowest recorded price is $49.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, and it has not moved since October 31, 2026. There is no cheaper point in its short history to wait for.
