Is the FDW mattress good for side sleepers?

It is medium firm, which many side sleepers find too firm at the shoulder and hip. The 12-inch version gives more cushioning than the 6-inch.

How long does it take to expand?

It ships compressed and typically reaches full thickness within 24 to 72 hours after unrolling. Cooler rooms slow expansion.

Does the gel foam sleep cool?

Gel infusion helps compared with plain memory foam, but it is still an all-foam bed with limited airflow. Hot sleepers may want a breathable topper.

What sizes and thicknesses are available?

Twin, Full, Queen and King, in 6, 10 and 12 inch thickness. The queen measures 80 by 76 inches.

Is $90.29 a good price?

That is the best new price at eBay as of November 6, 2026, and is low for any queen foam mattress. Check the size and thickness in the listing, since price varies by both.

Does it need a box spring?

No. It works on a platform bed, slatted frame or the floor. A solid, flat base gives the best support.

About the Fdw Gel Memory Foam Medium Firm Mattress

The FDW Gel Memory Foam Mattress is a budget all-foam bed sold in Twin, Full, Queen and King, with 6, 10 or 12 inch thickness options. The gel-infused memory foam is meant to sleep cooler than plain memory foam, and the medium firm feel targets back and stomach sleepers. The latest best new price is $90.29 at eBay as of November 6, 2026, with two stores listing it new. That is a very low entry point for a queen-size foam mattress, so expect basic materials rather than premium ones.
