Is the LG C6 42-inch worth it over a cheaper LED TV?

If you watch in a dim room or game, the OLED contrast and 120 Hz panel are the main reasons to pay more. In a bright room, a brighter LED set may serve you better for less.

Is this the same as the LG C5?

The C6 is the newer model in LG's evo OLED line, with the AI processing and webOS updates that come with it. The panel size and 120 Hz refresh rate carry over, so the jump is smaller than a size or panel change.

Does the 42-inch C6 support 4K at 120 Hz on both HDMI ports?

The set has 2 HDMI ports and a 120 Hz panel. Check the port labels on the set before buying, because with only two ports you may need a switcher for a console, soundbar and streaming device.
