About the ASUS ROG Strix G18 Gaming Laptop
The ASUS ROG Strix G18 is a large 18-inch gaming laptop built as a desktop replacement, with a high-refresh display, a powerful CPU and GPU, and strong cooling. The listing specs and the store highlights disagree on key details, so check the exact configuration before buying: the specs list a 1920 x 1200 144Hz panel, an Intel CPU, 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD, while the highlights describe a 240Hz 2.5K panel, an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX and 32GB RAM. Its lowest recent price was $1,399.99 on October 31, 2026, against a high of $1,849.00 on November 1, 2026, so the current price sits at the bottom of that range. At 7.5 lb it is heavy, and the 9-hour battery claim should be treated as light-use only.
