Is the Setohet 26-inch e-bike worth $299.99?

It is one of the cheapest 750W e-bikes you can buy, and the price has not moved since October 30, 2026. Expect to spend extra on better tires and possibly a brake tune-up. Buyers who want reliability should look higher up the market.

How far does it really go on a charge?

The listed range is 25 to 45 miles, but owners commonly report the battery dying in under 20 miles. Throttle-only riding and hills cut range further. Pedal assist at lower speeds gets closest to the claim.

How fast is it, and can it climb hills?

Top speed is a claimed 20 MPH, which keeps it in Class 2 territory. Owners say it struggles on inclines, so it suits flat routes better than steep ones.

How long does assembly take?

Buyers report 10 to 30 minutes for one person. You will need basic tools for the front wheel, handlebars and pedals, and it is worth checking the pedals are tight before the first ride.

What comes in the box?

The bike ships with the removable 432 Wh battery, charger, front headlight and LCD display. A taillight and mirrors are not included, and owners ask for both.

Does the battery come off for charging?

Yes. The 432 Wh battery is removable, so you can charge it indoors without bringing the 49.6 lb bike inside.
