Pros
  • Full set covers driver through putter in one buy
  • 460cc titanium-matrix driver is forgiving for a starter club
  • 22-degree hybrid helps with long approach shots
  • Lightweight cart bag, three head covers and rain hood included
  • Regular flex and perimeter weighting suit slower swing speeds
Cons
  • Steel shafts in the irons and hybrid add weight for weaker swings
  • Petite and youth sizing will not fit average or tall adults
  • No sand wedge or lob wedge in the set
  • Unbranded starter components limit resale and upgrade value
  • 3.8 out of 5 from 58 ratings is a middling reception

What reviewers say

Owner feedback on the Blaster set is mixed but leans positive for the price, with buyers treating it as an entry-level kit rather than a long-term set. Complaints center on build quality and the gap between the listed and actual club mix.

Pros
  • Good value as a first complete set
  • Easy to hit for beginners, especially the driver and hybrid
  • Bag and head covers are useful extras at this price
Cons
  • Some clubs feel light and cheaply finished
  • Grip and shaft quality below name brands
  • Set composition and sizing can disappoint taller or stronger players

Questions and answers

Is the Nitro Blaster set worth it for a beginner?
Yes, if you want a full bag for under $100 and play casually. The driver and hybrid are the easiest clubs to hit; expect starter-level finish on the irons and putter.
Who is this set sized for?
It is built for women, petite players and youth, with a 36.5-inch length and regular flex. Average-height or tall adult men will find the clubs short.
What comes in the box?
A graphite-shafted driver, a steel-shafted fairway wood and 22-degree hybrid, four irons, a mallet putter, three head covers, a rain hood and a lightweight cart bag.
Is there a sand wedge in the set?
No. The set stops at the irons and putter, so you would add a wedge separately for bunker play.
When is the price lowest?
The recent low was $36.18 on October 31, 2026, against $96.82 at Walmart on November 3, 2026. Watch for markdowns around holidays and end of season.
How does it compare with other starter sets?
It is cheaper than most boxed sets from Strata or Callaway, but those use better shafts and grips. Choose Nitro on budget; choose a brand set if you plan to play weekly.
