It runs five modes, from throttle to walk assist, with a 7-speed drivetrain and mechanical disc brakes, and tops out around 28 MPH. It is heavy and built to a price, but it covers ground a cheap hardtail cannot. Walmart lists it at $799.99 as of November 3, near the low end of its recent range.

Questions and answers

Is the Yareyi e-bike worth it?
For the price, yes, if you want fat tires and a strong motor and can live with the weight. It is a budget build, so expect mechanical brakes and a steel frame rather than premium components.
How fast does it go and how far on a charge?
The 750W motor is rated to 28 MPH. The 48V 15Ah battery is claimed at up to 65 miles, but expect well under that at full throttle or on hills.
Can I ride it without pedal assist?
Yes. It has a regular pedaling mode plus a 7-speed drivetrain, though the bike's weight makes unassisted riding tiring on hills.
What size rider does the 26-inch frame fit?
It is an adult bike with 26-inch wheels and a steel frame rated to 400 lb. Check the standover height against your inseam before ordering, since the frame comes in one size.
What comes in the box?
The bike ships mostly assembled with the rear rack and fender included. Owners report about 30 minutes of assembly using the video manual.
When is it cheapest?
Walmart listed it at $799.99 as of November 3. E-bike prices on this site tend to dip around major sales events, so compare against its price history before buying.
