Is the RTX 5070 in this laptop good for 1600p gaming?

Yes. The RTX 5070 is a current-generation dedicated GPU and the 2560 x 1600 panel pairs well with it for high settings in most modern titles. Expect to lower settings in the most demanding games to hold near 180fps.

Can I upgrade the RAM and storage?

The laptop ships with 16GB DDR5 and a 1TB SSD. Most Nitro V models have accessible memory and M.2 slots, but confirm the exact configuration before buying if upgrades matter to you.

How does it compare with the Nitro V 15?

The 16S steps up to a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 180Hz display and newer RTX 5070 graphics. The V 15 is smaller and typically cheaper, with lower-resolution panels on many configurations.

Is $1,359.99 a good price?

It is the best new price across the two stores listing it new as of November 6, 2026. For an RTX 5070 laptop with a 1600p 180Hz screen, that sits in the expected range rather than a deep discount.

Expect the laptop, its power adapter and standard paperwork. Acer does not typically bundle a mouse or headset with Nitro models.

How long does the battery last?

The lithium-ion battery is fine for light browsing and video, but gaming on the RTX 5070 will drain it quickly. Keep the adapter nearby for play sessions.
