Is the Bexhurst sofa worth $1,189.99?

At $1,189.99 at In Home Furniture as of November 4, 2026, it is cheap for a power reclining sofa in faux leather. Comparable leather power sofas usually cost more, so the value is in the recline, not the upholstery.

Does it need to be plugged in?

Yes. The power recline runs on electricity, so the sofa needs to sit within reach of an outlet. Check your room layout before buying.

Is faux leather durable?

Faux leather handles spills and wipes clean easily, but it can peel or crack after several years of daily use. It suits light to medium use better than a busy family room.

How many people does it seat?

It is a full sofa, so it seats three. Reclining sections take up extra depth when fully open, so leave clearance behind the sofa.

When is the best time to buy?

With only one store listing it new, discounts are unlikely to come from competition. Watch for store-wide furniture sales around holidays rather than waiting for a price drop on this model.
