About the Bone Conduction Headphones Bluetooth 6.0 Open-Ear

Open-ear bone conduction headphones that sit on the cheekbones and leave the ear canal open, so you hear traffic and conversation while you listen. They list Bluetooth 6.0, an IPX-rated waterproof build, a built-in microphone and up to 12 hours of battery. The best new price is $29.99 at Walmart as of November 6, 2026, the only new price on record, so there is no recent range to compare it against. 3.3 out of 5 from 119 ratings is a middling score
  • Bone conduction at this price usually means thin bass and quiet volume in noisy places
  • Bluetooth 6.0 is not a real released standard, so the spec is unreliable
  • No recent price history to judge whether $29.99 is a low

    • What reviewers say

    • 3.3 / 5119 ratings

Ratings average 3.3 out of 5 across 119 buyers, which points to a mixed reception rather than a clear winner. Buyers of cheap bone conduction sets often like the open-ear awareness but complain about sound and fit.

    What people mention
    • Sound qualityCriticisedBone conduction at this price tends to sound thin, with weak bass and limited detail.
    • FitMixedThe band-on-cheekbones design works for some and slips or presses for others.
    • AwarenessPraisedLeaving the ears open lets users hear traffic and people around them.
    • VolumeCriticisedOutput is often too quiet on busy roads or in the gym.
    • BatteryMixedThe claimed 12 hours is decent on paper, but real use at higher volume usually falls short.

    Questions and answers

    Are these good for running?
Yes, that is their main use. The open-ear design keeps traffic audible and the waterproof build handles sweat. Expect modest sound quality.
    Do they block outside noise?
No. Bone conduction leaves the ear canal open, so you hear everything around you. That is the point for outdoor sports, but poor for noisy commutes.
    Is the 12-hour battery realistic?
Treat it as a best case. Most bone conduction sets at this price last closer to 6 to 8 hours at higher volume.
    Is Bluetooth 6.0 real?
No. The current Bluetooth core standard is 5.x, so the 6.0 label is marketing. The set will still pair like any Bluetooth headphone.
    Is $29.99 a good price?
It is a low entry price for bone conduction, and it is the only new price on record as of November 6, 2026. There is no history to show it as a discount.
Can I take calls on them?
Yes, there is a built-in microphone. Call quality in wind or traffic will be limited at this price.
