About the Xkjqta Electric Mountain Bike 26-inch

The Xkjqta Electric Mountain Bike is a 26-inch Class 2 e-bike with a 750W mid-drive motor, a 48V 12Ah battery and full suspension, rated for 20 mph and up to 40 miles per charge. It pairs a 7-speed drivetrain with dual caliper brakes and a 300 lb max load, and it ships requiring assembly. At $299.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what a full-suspension, 750W e-bike normally costs, which is the main reason to look at it.

Best forBudget-first riders who want a full-suspension e-bike under $300Teens 14 and up and lighter adults on paved paths and light trailsCommuters who want pedal-assist plus a throttle without a big spend
Pros
  • 750W mid-drive motor with 48V 12Ah battery is strong for the price
  • Full suspension front and rear softens rough pavement and gravel
  • 300 lb max load and 7 speeds cover a wide range of riders
  • Class 2 setup means throttle plus pedal assist, no license in most states
Cons
High carbon steel frame is heavy and can rust if paint chips
  • No NRTL safety certification listed, a real concern on a 48V battery
  • 6-hour charge time and 40-mile claimed range are modest
  • Ships unassembled; brakes and drivetrain need proper setup
  • Only one store prices it new, so price history and support are thin

    • What reviewers say

The 3.2 out of 5 from 127 ratings points to a mixed reception: owners tend to like the power and the price, while complaints cluster around assembly, component quality and durability.

    Pros
    • Strong acceleration for the money
    • Suspension helps on bumpy paths
    • Good value at the entry price
    Cons
    • Assembly and adjustment issues out of the box
    • Cheap components that wear or need replacing
    • Inconsistent quality control between units

    Questions and answers

Is the Xkjqta Electric Mountain Bike worth it at $299.99?
At $299.99 it is one of the cheapest full-suspension 750W e-bikes you can buy, so it makes sense for casual riding on a tight budget. Expect to spend time on assembly and possibly on replacement parts, and budget for a helmet and a lock.
How fast does it go and how far on a charge?
It is a Class 2 e-bike capped at 20 mph, with a claimed range of up to 40 miles from the 48V 12Ah battery. Real range drops with throttle use, hills and rider weight, so plan on less than 40 miles.
How long does the battery take to charge?
About 6 hours from empty with the included charger. The battery is rated for a 10-year life, though that figure assumes regular, careful charging.
    Does it come assembled?
No. Assembly is required, typically handlebars, front wheel, pedals and brake checks. If you are not comfortable adjusting brakes and a derailleur, factor in a bike shop tune-up.
Is it safe for a 14-year-old?
The minimum recommended age is 14, and the 300 lb max load and 20 mph cap suit teens and adults. Check your state's e-bike rules for where Class 2 bikes can be ridden, and have an adult verify the brakes after assembly.
    When is it cheapest?
Only one store, Walmart, listed it new at $299.99 as of November 3, 2026, so there is little price competition to wait for. Watch for holiday sales, since a single-seller item rarely discounts outside major events.
