  • Wipe-with-dry-cloth care only; no removable, washable covers listed
  • 138.9 lb two-piece delivery is awkward to move alone
  • 72-hour expansion wait before it reaches full shape
  • 3.3 out of 5 from 15 ratings is a middling owner score

What reviewers say

Feedback is limited, 15 ratings averaging 3.3 out of 5, so treat the score as a rough signal rather than a verdict. The pattern in compressed-foam sofas like this is that buyers like the look and price but question long-term firmness.

Pros
  • Large size for the money
  • Soft, deep seating
  • Easy setup out of the box
Cons
  • Cushions lose shape over time
  • Firmer or flatter than expected
  • Bulk and weight make rearranging a chore

Questions and answers

Is the Idealsoul cloud couch worth it?
At $399.98 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is one of the cheapest ways to get a 101-inch modular sectional. Expect cloud-soft sponge fill rather than long-term support, so it suits renters and casual lounges more than daily heavy use.
How long does it take to expand after unboxing?
Idealsoul says to open the compression bag and allow 72 hours for full expansion. Seats and backs will look thin and wrinkled before then, so plan around three days before judging the shape.
Can it be arranged in shapes other than an L?
Yes. The two pieces are modular, so you can set them as an L-shaped corner or split them into a longer sofa or a cozy corner. The chaise and loveseat are separate, so the layout is flexible.
Does it work as a bed for guests?
It is listed as a sleeper with full bed size, and the deep 52-inch seat gives room to stretch out. The sponge fill is soft, so it is fine for occasional guests, not nightly sleeping.
Is the chenille fabric good for pets?
The listing calls the chenille pet-friendly, and the tight bamboo-knot texture hides some wear. Care is limited to wiping with a dry cloth, so muddy paws and spills need quick attention.
When is the price lowest?
It has held at $399.98 to $399.99 since October 30, 2026, with the low of $399.98 seen on November 1. There is no sign of discounting yet, so watch for holiday sales rather than waiting on a small drop.
