    Questions and answers

Is the Costway grocery store set worth $114.99?
At $114.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, you get a wooden shop, cart, register and two chalkboards. That is fair for a wooden set of this size, but some owners say it feels small for the money. Check the listed dimensions against your space before buying.
    What age is it for?
Costway lists a minimum age of 3 years. The rounded edges suit younger preschoolers, and the register and chalkboards keep kids up to about 6 engaged.
    What comes in the box?
The box includes the grocery store, shopping cart, cash register and VIP card. Pretend food, chalk and play money are not listed, so plan to add them.
    Does it include play food?
No. The seven shelves and cabinet are empty, so the set works best with a separate play food set.
    How hard is assembly?
Buyers call it very easy to assemble overall. The one recurring snag is that the two screw sets are labeled A and B, so sort them before you start.
    When is it cheapest?
Tracking only began on November 2, 2026, and the price has stayed at $114.99 since. There is no discount history yet, so compare the eight stores listing it before the holidays.
