Is this set worth it at $149.99?

It is a lot of cookware for the money, and the induction compatibility and 500° F oven rating are real advantages at this price. But $149.99 is the highest price seen since October 30, when it was $133.99, so waiting for a dip is reasonable if you are not in a hurry.

Does it work on induction cooktops?

The pots and pans are induction ready, and the set lists induction, gas, ceramic and halogen support. The baking trays are not induction ready, which does not matter since they go in the oven.

Is it oven safe, and to what temperature?

Yes, the cookware is oven safe up to 500° F. Check that any lid you put in the oven is rated for the same heat.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Gotham Steel lists the set as dishwasher safe. Hand washing still extends the life of any non-stick coating, so many owners wash the pans by hand and put the rest in the dishwasher.

What is included in the 15 pieces?

The set covers a fry pan, saucepans, a 5 qt stock pot, lids and square and loaf baking pans. Count lids and bakeware as part of the 15, not 15 separate pots and pans.

How does it compare with a ceramic or stainless set?

Stainless steel will outlast it and tolerate metal utensils, but food sticks without added fat. This set trades long-term durability for easy release and a low entry price.
