Is the 6.5-inch blade big enough for everyday cooking?

It works well for onions, garlic, herbs, and smaller vegetables, but an 8-inch chef's knife is faster for squash, cabbage, and big roasts. If you do a lot of heavy chopping, this set is a secondary tool rather than a main one.

Can I sharpen these with a pull-through sharpener?

The blade has an asymmetrical V edge, and the listing specifies sharpening stones. A pull-through sharpener can round that edge over time, so a whetstone or a guided stone system is the safer choice.

What is included in the set?

Three 6.5-inch chef's knives. No sharpener, honing rod, or storage block is listed.

Is $150.47 a good price for three knives?

It is the only new price listed as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare it to. Judge it against other full-tang stainless three-knife sets at that price.

Are the handles dishwasher safe?

The listing says no special cleaning is required, but hand washing and drying is the safer habit for stainless handles and edges. Dishwasher heat and detergent can dull the edge and wear the finish.

About the Cuisine::pro DAMASHIRO ULTIMATE 6.5 in. Chef's Knife Set of 3

A three-piece set of 6.5-inch chef's knives from Cuisine::pro's Damashiro Ultimate line, built on a German-style pattern with full-tang stainless steel blades and white stainless handles. The 6.5-inch length sits between a paring knife and a full 8-inch chef's knife, so it handles smaller prep and board work more nimbly. The asymmetrical V edge is meant to be maintained on sharpening stones rather than a pull-through sharpener. At $150.47 at Home Depot as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.
