Is the DJI Mini 5 Pro worth it over the Mini 4 Pro?

The Mini 5 Pro's main step up is the 1-inch sensor, which gives better low-light photos and more room to crop 50MP stills. If you mostly shoot in good light, a cheaper Mini 4 Pro may be enough.

Do I need to register the Mini 5 Pro?

At under 250g it falls in the lightest category in many countries, including the US, where recreational flyers generally do not need registration. Rules vary by country, and commercial use usually requires registration regardless of weight.

How long can it fly on one battery?

DJI rates it at up to 52 minutes per charge, though real flights with wind and hovering typically come in shorter. The Fly More Combo includes extra batteries to extend a session.

What is in the Fly More Combo box?

The combo includes the drone, the DJI RC 2 controller with built-in screen, a shoulder bag, and additional batteries and accessories for longer sessions. Check the listing for the exact accessory count.

Does it shoot vertical video?

Yes. The gimbal supports true vertical shooting, so you can record native portrait video for social platforms without cropping.

When is the best time to buy it?

The recent daily low was $589.99 on October 29, 2026, against $979 at Tour Supply on November 3. Watch for sales around shopping holidays and DJI launch events rather than buying at the current high.
