Is the Wrangler 4-piece set worth $99?

At $99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, you get a checked bag, a carry-on and two packing cubes. That is low for a hard-shell spinner set, so it suits budget travelers who accept basic wheels and handles.

Does the 20-inch carry-on meet airline size limits?

A 20-inch spinner is sized for most major US carriers' carry-on limits, but check your airline's exact dimensions before packing it full. The expandable zipper adds depth that can push it over a sizer.

What is included in the box?

The set includes the 25-inch checked spinner, the 20-inch carry-on spinner, a 15-inch packing cube and a 12-inch packing cube. No lock or luggage tag is included.

Are the bags expandable?

Yes, both the checked and carry-on shells have expandable zippers for extra capacity. Expect the expanded bag to be deeper and less rigid.

How does it compare with a softside set?

The hard shell protects contents better and resists rain, but it has less give for overpacking and can crack under rough handling. Softside bags stretch more but offer less impact protection.

Walmart is the only store pricing it new at $99 as of November 3, 2026. Luggage sets often drop during back-to-school and Black Friday sales, so watch for those windows.
