Is the $289.99 price at Macy's a good deal?

It is far above the recent range: the lowest daily price since October 31 was $87.00 on November 2, and the highest was $200.00 on October 31. At $289.99 as of November 3, 2026, it is the priciest point in that window.

How fast does it go and can parents limit it?

Top speed is 3.7 mph across three speed settings. The included remote lets a parent slow or stop it, which matters most for 3 and 4 year olds.

How long does the battery last?

Roughly 1 to 2 hours of driving per charge, and a full charge takes 8 to 12 hours. Plan on overnight charging between sessions.

What age and weight is it for?

Best Choice Products recommends ages 3 to 8, with a 65 lb weight limit. Tall or heavy kids near that limit will outgrow it fast.

Does it come with the remote and charger?

Yes, the parental remote and charging equipment are part of the package. Check the box contents on arrival, since missing parts are a common complaint on ride-ons.

How does it compare with a 24V ride-on?

A 24V model will be faster and handle hills better, but costs more and is riskier for young riders. This 12V truck suits flat yards and supervised use.
