Is the AirPods Pro 3 worth it over the AirPods Pro 2?

If you want heart rate sensing, IP57 sweat resistance, and stronger noise cancellation, yes. If you already own the Pro 2 and mainly care about sound, the upgrade is smaller.

How long does the battery last?

Apple rates up to 8 hours of listening per charge and up to 24 hours total with the charging case. Noise cancellation on and loud volume will shorten that.

Are they good for running and the gym?

Yes. They are the first AirPods with an IP57 rating, so they handle sweat and rain, and the built-in heart rate sensor gives workout metrics without a watch.

Do they work with Android phones?

They pair over Bluetooth and play audio, but heart rate sensing, Precision Finding, and the camera remote are built for Apple devices.

What comes in the box?

The earbuds, the charging case, and multiple ear tip sizes, including the new foam-infused tips. A charging cable is included but no power adapter.

When is the best time to buy?

Apple earbuds usually drop around Black Friday and back-to-school sales. The $125.00 eBay price as of November 5, 2026 is already well below Apple's list price.

Conversation Awareness. AirPods Pro 3 can detect when you’re talking to someone nearby and automatically lower the volume of whatever you’re listening to. When you’re done, the volume goes right back to where you had it.

The sound of science.

Powered by the Apple-designed H2 chip, AirPods Pro 3 feature a completely redesigned acoustic architecture that brings breathtaking, all-around-you audio to everything you listen to — from your pump-up playlist to your weekly FaceTime call with family.

For your ears only.

AirPods Pro 3 feature next-generation Adaptive EQ, which customizes a sound signature for your unique ear geometry and fit. And Personalized Volume uses machine learning to understand your listening patterns and adapt to your preferences over time.

Adaptive EQ tunes music to your ears in real time based on the fit of your AirPods. Inward-facing microphones measure what you’re hearing, then adjust the low to high frequencies of a song — so you get consistently detailed playback, every time.

Personalized Spatial Audio uses the TrueDepth camera on your iPhone to create a custom profile based on the geometry of your head, delivering deeply immersive sound tailored to you.

Dynamic head tracking makes conversations feel like they’re happening in the same room — whether you’re gaming with friends or hosting a Group FaceTime call with family.
