Questions and answers

Is the BedInABox Original good for side sleepers?
It can work for lighter side sleepers, but the medium-firm feel is firmer than many side sleepers prefer. Heavier side sleepers may want a softer top layer.
Does the gel memory foam sleep cool?
The CoolRest gel layer is designed to pull heat away better than standard memory foam. It still sleeps warmer than a latex or innerspring mattress.
How long does it take to expand after unboxing?
Most foam mattresses like this one reach full shape within 24 to 48 hours. Sleeping on it the first night is fine, though it may feel firmer until it fully expands.
Is $549 a good price for the queen?
At $549 at Give 5 To Cancer as of November 6, 2026, it is well below typical queen prices for gel memory foam mattresses. Compare the other two stores before buying.
Can it be used in an RV?
Yes, the manufacturer lists RV use as a supported case. Check your RV's mattress dimensions, since the queen is 80 inches long.
What is the firmness compared with the Original before the gel update?
The gel version keeps the same medium-firm feel as the earlier Original. The main change is the CoolRest gel top layer for heat.
Where is the BedInABox Original Gel Memory Foam Mattress cheapest?
At Give 5 To Cancer, for $549.00, 30% off, as of our latest check.
