Our take on the Chanel Chance Eau de Parfum

Chanel Chance Eau de Parfum is a women's floral fragrance built around jasmine, pink pepper and patchouli, sold as a spray in a round bottle. It is a softer, fuller eau de parfum version of the original Chance eau de toilette. The best new price is $154.00 at Macy's as of November 3, 2026, with four stores listing it new. Chanel rarely discounts, so that price sits near the low end of what this scent typically sells for.

Best forWomen who want a soft, clean floral signature scentGift buyers looking for a recognizable designer fragranceFans of the original Chance who want longer wearShoppers who want a purse-size spray option
Pros
  • Eau de parfum concentration gives longer wear than the eau de toilette
  • Balanced floral with a warm patchouli base that suits most seasons
  • Widely recognized, easy to gift
  • Travel-size spray is available
  • Four stores list it new, so prices are easy to compare
Cons
  • Chanel controls pricing, so discounts are small
  • Patchouli base does not suit everyone
  • Popular enough to feel common on some wearers
  • Full-size bottles are a real splurge

What reviewers say

Owners describe Chance Eau de Parfum as a fresh, feminine floral that lasts most of a workday. Many call it a safe blind buy and a repeat purchase. The main complaint is that it smells similar to the original eau de toilette and that the price is high for the amount of scent.

Pros
  • Soft jasmine and pink pepper opening that is not overpowering
  • Good longevity for a floral, often six to eight hours
  • Compliments from others without being loud
  • Bottle design and spray quality
Cons
  • Close to the original Chance, so not a big change
  • Patchouli dry-down reads heavy to some
  • Price per ounce is high
  • Can feel too popular or familiar

Questions and answers

Is Chance Eau de Parfum worth the price?
If you want a long-lasting, versatile floral from a major house, yes. Chanel discounts little, so $154.00 at Macy's as of November 3, 2026 is close to the usual street price.
How is it different from the original Chance eau de toilette?
The eau de parfum is denser and warmer, with more patchouli in the base, and it lasts longer. The eau de toilette is lighter and fresher.
How long does it last?
Most wearers get six to eight hours on skin, longer on clothing. Dry skin and hot weather shorten it.
Is a travel size available?
Yes, a travel-size spray is offered. It is a practical way to try the scent before buying a full bottle.
What is in the box?
A single spray bottle of the fragrance in the size you order. Gift sets and other sizes are sold separately.
When is it cheapest?
Chanel holds prices steady, so the best savings come from store promotions and gift-with-purchase events rather than deep markdowns. Compare the four new listings before buying.
Where is the Chanel Chance Eau de Parfum cheapest?
At Macy's, for $154.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Chanel Chance Eau de Parfum?
6 stores we checked sell it, including Loja Glamourosa, Sephora, Macy's, eBay, kogan.com.
