Our take on the DeWalt 20V MAX Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Kit and 20V MAX XR Cordless Brushless Jigsaw

This is a five-piece DeWalt 20V MAX cordless kit built around lithium-ion batteries, and it includes the 20V MAX XR brushless jigsaw. The brushless jigsaw is the standout: it runs cooler and lasts longer per charge than a brushed saw. At $499 at Home Depot as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. Shoppers get one battery platform that covers drilling, driving, cutting and sawing.

Questions and answers

Is this kit worth it over buying the tools separately?
A five-tool kit usually costs less than the same tools bought one by one, and you get batteries and a charger in one box. At $499 at Home Depot as of November 3, 2026, compare it against bare-tool prices only if you already own 20V MAX batteries.
Does the jigsaw have a brushless motor?
Yes. The included 20V MAX XR jigsaw is brushless, so it runs cooler and gets more cuts per charge than a brushed saw.
Can I use my existing DeWalt 20V MAX batteries?
Yes. Every tool in the kit runs on the 20V MAX lithium-ion platform, so older 20V MAX packs work in these tools.
What comes in the box?
You get five 20V MAX tools, including the XR brushless jigsaw, plus lithium-ion batteries and a charger. Confirm the exact tool list and battery count on the listing before ordering.
When is the price lowest?
Combo kits typically drop during Black Friday and spring tool events. Only one new price, $499 at Home Depot as of November 3, 2026, is listed now, so watch for holiday sales.
Where is the DeWalt 20V MAX Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Kit and 20V MAX XR Cordless Brushless Jigsaw cheapest?
At Home Depot, for $499.00, as of our latest check.
