Our take on the Dr. Seuss Deluxe Adult Grinch Costume

The Dr. Seuss Deluxe Adult Grinch Costume is an officially licensed outfit built around a green faux-fur jacket with a full-face latex Grinch mask, hat and gloves. A boning hoop in the hemline keeps the coat's shape instead of collapsing. It is a costume-party piece rather than a warm winter coat, and the latex mask makes it hot to wear for long stretches. No current price was provided, so compare the latest quote against its recent range before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this costume worth it?
If you want a complete, licensed Grinch look for a party or photos, the included mask, hat and gloves save you from buying pieces separately. If you only need a green shirt or plan to wear it outdoors in the cold, a simpler or warmer option makes more sense.
Does the mask make it hard to breathe or see?
Yes. It is a full-face latex mask, so expect limited peripheral vision and a warm, stuffy feel. Take breaks and keep it off while eating or drinking.
What sizes does it come in?
It is sold as an adult costume, and the jacket fit is not generous. Check the size chart against your chest and sleeve measurements before ordering, and expect the faux fur to add bulk.
What is included in the box?
The jacket, the full-face latex mask, the hat and the gloves. Shoes and pants are not included, so pair it with dark pants and shoes you already own.
Can I wear it for Christmas events as well as Halloween?
Yes. The Grinch theme suits Christmas parties, school events and photos, and the costume is marketed for the holiday season as well as Halloween.
When is it cheapest?
Costume prices usually drop after Halloween and again in early January, and rise in the weeks before each holiday. Compare the current quote with its recent price history before buying.
