Our take on the Ebern Designs Brooklington 89'' Sofa

The Brooklington is an 89-inch upholstered sofa from Ebern Designs, a Wayfair house brand, sold in a gray polyester fabric. At 89 inches it seats three comfortably and sits in the wide-sofa class, so measure your room and doorways before ordering. Wayfair lists free 3-day delivery and an open-box option, which usually undercuts the new price. The listing carries a 4.3 out of 5 rating from 650 ratings, a solid but not standout score for this price tier.

Pros
  • 89-inch width gives real three-person seating
  • Polyester upholstery resists stains and wipes clean
  • Free 3-day delivery on the standard option
  • Open-box option can lower the entry price
  • Neutral gray suits most room palettes
Cons
  • Polyester feels less premium than linen or woven blends
  • No price or dimensions beyond width are confirmed here
  • House-brand sofa, so long-term durability is unproven
  • Gray-only fabric limits color choice
  • Large footprint needs a big room and wide doorways

Questions and answers

Is the Brooklington sofa worth it?
At a 4.3 rating from 650 ratings, it is a reasonable value for a long three-seat sofa in the budget-to-mid range. If you want a soft, plush feel or premium upholstery, look higher up the range.
How big is it, and will it fit through my door?
It is 89 inches wide, so it needs a wall of roughly 7.5 feet or more. Check your doorway and hallway width against the box dimensions before ordering, since a sofa this wide may arrive in sections or need a clear path.
Is the polyester fabric good with pets and kids?
Yes. Polyester is durable and wipes clean, which makes it one of the more practical choices for households with pets or small children. It is not as breathable or as textured as linen.
Should I buy the open-box option?
Open-box units are typically returned or display items and sell for less, but condition varies. Confirm the return window and inspect it on delivery before the window closes.
When is the best time to buy?
Wayfair discounts house-brand sofas most around major sale events and long weekends. Watch the price history here rather than buying at the first listed price.
What comes in the box?
Expect the sofa, legs and hardware, with assembly required. Confirm the exact contents and whether tools are included on the listing before ordering.
What do buyers say about the Ebern Designs Brooklington 89'' Sofa?
Rated 4.3 out of 5 from 650 ratings.
