Our take on the euroco Twin Size Daybed Frame with Trundle and Storage

The euroco Twin Size Daybed Frame with Trundle and Storage is a solid pine and MDF daybed that converts into two twin sleeping spots, with a trundle and underbed storage drawers built in. It has an open-frame wood headboard with a bookcase, a 400 lb weight capacity and a 41.2''W by 33.9''H footprint that suits small rooms and guest spaces. Assembly is required. It is a budget-tier import frame rather than a premium piece, and its 2.6 out of 5 rating from 11 buyers is a caution sign worth weighing before you buy.

Questions and answers

Is the euroco daybed worth it?
It is a budget option that packs a trundle, bookcase and drawers into one frame. The 2.6 out of 5 rating means you should expect to do some assembly work and check the frame carefully on arrival.
Does it come with mattresses?
No. The frame takes two twin mattresses, one for the daybed and one for the trundle, and both are sold separately. Trundle mattresses are usually 6 to 8 inches thick to fit the lower clearance.
How much weight does it hold?
The listed capacity is 400 lb. That is a reasonable figure for a twin frame, but the trundle and drawers have their own limits, so keep heavy loads on the main deck.
How hard is assembly?
Assembly is required and buyers commonly report it takes a few hours with two people. Having a second person helps with the headboard and trundle alignment.
What size room does it fit?
The frame is 110''L by 41.2''W by 33.9''H, so plan for a wall about 9 feet long. It suits small bedrooms and guest rooms where a second bed would not otherwise fit.
When is it cheapest?
Bed frames like this usually dip during back-to-school and major holiday sales. Check the price history on this page before buying rather than assuming the current price is the low.
What do buyers say about the euroco Twin Size Daybed Frame with Trundle and Storage?
Rated 2.6 out of 5 from 11 ratings.
