Our take on the Floral Epoxy Resin 1.5 Gallon Kit

This is a two-part polyamine epoxy kit totaling 1.5 gallons, sold for casting, embedding, and sealing work. It cures slowly (about 72 hours at room temperature), pours thin, and finishes crystal clear with high gloss and very low yellowing. The only recorded price is $160.00, so there is no recent range to compare against yet.

Questions and answers

Is this kit worth it for a beginner?
Yes, if you are doing casting or embedding and can wait out the slow cure. The included instructions and low-viscosity formula make it forgiving, but 1.5 gallons is more than most first projects need.
How long until it is fully cured?
About 72 hours at room temperature. Warmer rooms speed it up slightly; cold rooms slow it down.
Can I use it for deep pours?
The slow cure helps limit heat buildup in thicker pours, but very deep single pours still risk cracking. Pour in layers if the piece is large.
Will it yellow in sunlight?
Yellowing is described as very low to minimal, but this is not a dedicated UV-stabilized art resin. Keep finished pieces out of direct sun for long periods.
What is in the box?
Part A epoxy and Part B curing agent, plus full mixing instructions. No molds, pigments, or measuring cups are listed.
When is the price lowest?
The only recorded price is $160.00, dated 2026-11-02, so there is no cheaper point to wait for yet. Check back for a history before assuming a sale is coming.
