Our take on the Hongge Electric Remote-Control Ride-On Car

The Hongge Electric Remote-Control Ride-On Car is a 12-volt, single-seat toy car for kids ages 3 to 7, finished in pink, with opening doors, LED headlights, a working horn, engine sounds and built-in music. Parents get a 2.4GHz remote for override and a soft-start drive that eases into acceleration. It measures about 40 x 21 x 17 inches and ships with the car and one remote. Its only recorded price, $131.99 at Macy's as of October 30, 2026, is both its recent low and high, so there is no cheaper day to wait for yet.

Questions and answers

Is the Hongge ride-on car worth it?
At $131.99 at Macy's as of October 30, 2026, it is a reasonable price for a 12-volt car with a parental remote and audio. Buyers call it good value, though it is a budget plastic toy, not a long-term vehicle.
How does it compare with a 6-volt ride-on?
The 12-volt system should give more speed and handle grass and small slopes better than 6-volt cars. It also adds a 2.4GHz remote and soft start, which cheaper 6-volt models often lack.
How long does the battery last on a charge?
Hongge does not publish runtime or charge time for this model. Expect a typical short play session per charge for 12-volt cars of this size, and plan to recharge between uses.
What age and size of child fits?
It is rated for ages 3 to 7 and one rider. The single seat and 40-inch length suit smaller preschoolers; taller 6- and 7-year-olds may find it cramped.
What comes in the box?
The box contains the electric ride-on car and one remote control. Check the listing for the charger and any assembly hardware before buying.
When is the price lowest?
The only recorded price is $131.99 at Macy's as of October 30, 2026, which is both the recent low and high. There is no cheaper day on record to wait for.
What do buyers say about the Hongge Electric Remote-Control Ride-On Car?
Buyers like: Granddaughter loves riding in it; Remote control handy while she learns to steer on her own; Great little car for the price.
