Our take on the KitchenAid 31 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with Interior Water and Ice KRFF336SPS

The KitchenAid KRFF336SPS is a 31 cu. ft. three-door French door refrigerator in stainless steel with an interior water and ice dispenser. It pairs a 21.5 cu. ft. fresh-food section with a 9.01 cu. ft. freezer and adds a full-width pantry drawer, gallon door bins and adjustable glass shelves. It is a large freestanding unit at 35 15/16 in wide and 37 7/16 in deep, so it needs a full-depth cutout. The best new price is $2,598 at US Appliance as of November 5, 2026, with five stores pricing it new.

Questions and answers

Is $2,598 a good price for this refrigerator?
It is the best new price across the five stores that list it, at US Appliance as of November 5, 2026. Larger French door fridges with interior dispensers often run above $3,000, so this sits in the lower-middle of that band.
Does it fit a standard 36-inch opening?
Yes. It is 35 15/16 in wide, so it fits a 36-inch cutout with a little clearance. It is 37 7/16 in deep, so it is not counter depth and will stand proud of standard counters.
Does it have ice and water through the door?
No. The water and ice dispenser is inside the fresh-food compartment, so you open the door to use it. That keeps the exterior clean but is less convenient than a door dispenser.
Is it Energy Star certified?
No. It is not Energy Star certified, so expect higher running costs than a comparably sized certified model.
Does it connect to an app?
No. It has no Wi-Fi or smart features, so there is no app control or remote diagnostics.
What is in the box?
The refrigerator, a water filter and the standard installation hardware. A water line connection is needed for the interior dispenser.
Where is the KitchenAid 31 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with Interior Water and Ice KRFF336SPS cheapest?

What do buyers say about the KitchenAid 31 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with Interior Water and Ice KRFF336SPS?
