Our take on the LG OLED evo G6 65 Inch 4K Smart TV

The LG OLED evo G6 is a 65-inch 4K OLED TV built for wall mounting, with a flush gallery design and a screen that doubles as an art display. Its Brightness Booster Ultra panel and Reflection Free coating target the two classic OLED weak spots: daytime brightness and glare. LG claims the α11 Gen3 processor runs 50% faster with 70% better graphics than the prior generation. At $2,299.99 at Best Buy as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the top of the 65-inch OLED market, so the price is a premium one rather than a discount.

Best forBright, glare-heavy living roomsWall-mounted setups where a flush fit mattersMovie and sports fans who want deep blacksBuyers who want art display mode between shows
Pros
  • Brightness Booster Ultra is rated 3.9x brighter than conventional OLED
  • Reflection Free Premium coating cuts glare in bright rooms
  • Flush Fit Gallery Design mounts nearly flat to the wall
  • α11 AI Processor Gen3 with faster processing and graphics
  • Art and photo display mode when the TV is idle
  • Magic Remote MR26GA included
Cons
  • $2,299.99 is a premium price with no discount at the single listed store
  • Gallery design is meant for wall mounting; a stand is not listed in the box
  • OLED panels still carry long-term burn-in risk with static content
  • Only one store prices it new, so price competition is limited

Questions and answers

Is the LG G6 worth $2,299.99?
It is a premium price for a 65-inch OLED, and Best Buy is the only store listing it new as of November 4, 2026. It makes sense if you wall-mount in a bright room and want the extra brightness and anti-glare coating. If you watch in a dark room, a cheaper OLED will look close.
How is the G6 different from the G5?
LG rates the G6's Brightness Booster Ultra at 3.9x conventional OLED brightness and adds the α11 Gen3 processor with 50% faster operation and 70% better graphics. The Reflection Free Premium coating is the other headline change for bright rooms.
Does the G6 come with a stand?
The listed box contents are the TV and the Magic Remote (MR26GA). The Flush Fit Gallery Design is built for wall mounting, so plan on a wall mount or check separately for a stand.
How bright is it compared with a regular OLED?
LG states Brightness Booster Ultra is 3.9x brighter than conventional OLED TVs. That claim is LG's own, but it targets the usual OLED weakness in daylight viewing.
Will reflections be a problem in a bright room?
The Reflection Free Premium coating is designed to minimize glare, which is a real improvement over older glossy OLEDs. Very bright windows directly opposite the screen can still show some reflection.
When is the best time to buy it?
New flagship TVs usually see their first real discounts around Black Friday and again when the next model year arrives. As of November 4, 2026, the best new price is $2,299.99 at Best Buy with no discount.
Where is the LG OLED evo G6 65 Inch 4K Smart TV cheapest?
At Beach Audio, for $1,827.15, 32% off, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the LG OLED evo G6 65 Inch 4K Smart TV?
Rated 4.8 out of 5 from 4,200 ratings.
Where can I buy the LG OLED evo G6 65 Inch 4K Smart TV?
