Questions and answers

Is the Serta Palisades sectional worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you need reclining seats and storage in a small footprint and can live with a 3.5-star average. If long-term cushion support matters most, compare it with fixed sofas at the same price.
How does it compare with a standard reclining sofa?
The Palisades adds a chaise with hidden storage and an L-shape, so it seats more people in a corner. A plain reclining sofa usually has deeper seats and fewer moving parts.
How much space do I need behind it for reclining?
Recliners need several inches of clearance behind the backrest to fully recline. Measure your wall gap before buying; the 62'' depth is the footprint, not the reclined position.
Are the cushions removable and washable?
The seat and back cushions are loose and removable. The polyester covers are not described as machine washable, so spot clean or use a professional cleaner.
What is the weight capacity?
749.6 lbs total for the sectional. That is high for this size class, but it is a whole-piece figure, not per seat.
When is it cheapest?
Sectionals like this usually drop during major holiday sales and end-of-season clearance. Track the price history here and buy when it falls below the recent range.
What do buyers say about the Serta Palisades Reclining Sectional with Storage Chaise?
