Our take on the Sugift 2.25HP 2 in 1 Folding Treadmill with App Speaker Remote Control

The Sugift 2.25HP 2-in-1 Folding Treadmill is a compact walking-and-jogging machine that runs flat under a standing desk or with its handlebar raised for speeds up to 7.5 mph. It pairs a quiet 2.25HP brushless motor with a Bluetooth fitness app, a built-in speaker and a remote control, and the deck folds vertically onto transport wheels for storage. Its recent price has moved in a narrow band, from $239.00 on October 29, 2026 to $245.99 on November 2, 2026, so the low end of that range is only about $7 below the high.

Best forDesk workers who want to walk while taking callsSmall apartments and rooms with no floor space for a full treadmillLight joggers and walkers who want app-tracked sessionsBuyers who want a sub-$250 treadmill they can move alone
Pros
  • 2-in-1 layout: flat deck for under-desk walking, raised handlebar for jogging
  • 2.25HP brushless motor is quieter and longer-lived than brushed motors at this price
  • Bluetooth app logs distance, time, calories and workout history
  • Built-in speaker streams music or audiobooks from a phone
  • Folds vertically with transport wheels for closets, doors or under desks
  • Remote control changes speed without reaching for the console
Cons
  • 7.5 mph top speed suits jogging, not serious running
  • No incline, so it cannot mimic hill training
  • Short, narrow deck typical of folding treadmills limits stride length
  • Handlebar must be raised for jogging, so it is not a full-time under-desk walker
  • App features depend on a phone connection and the app staying supported

Questions and answers

Is the Sugift 2-in-1 treadmill worth it?
At $239.00 at Macy's as of October 29, 2026, it is a reasonable buy for walking under a desk or light jogging in a small space. It is not a substitute for a full gym treadmill if you run fast or want incline.
Can I run on it or only walk?
You can jog up to 7.5 mph with the handlebar raised. Walking with the deck flat under a standing desk is the other main mode.
How fast does it go?
Top speed is 7.5 mph, which covers brisk walking and light jogging. There is no incline setting.
Does it need a phone to work?
No. The treadmill runs from its console and remote control. The Bluetooth app and speaker are optional extras for logging workouts and playing audio.
How much space does it need when folded?
The deck folds vertically and rolls on transport wheels, so it can stand behind a door, against a closet or under a desk. Check the folded height against your clearance before buying.
When is it cheapest?
Its lowest recent daily price was $239.00 on October 29, 2026, against a high of $245.99 on November 2, 2026. The spread is small, so waiting for a big drop is unlikely to pay off.
Is the Sugift 2.25HP 2 in 1 Folding Treadmill with App Speaker Remote Control at its lowest price?
The lowest price we've seen is $239.00 at Macy's on October 29.
