Our take on the Superior Egyptian Cotton Absorbent 8-Piece Towel Set

An 8-piece towel set in Egyptian cotton, sold as a mix of washcloths, hand towels and fingertip towels. Egyptian cotton is the draw here: long staple fibers that tend to feel softer and absorb better than standard cotton, though the set is light on bath towels. At $73.49 at JCPenney as of November 6, 2026, it sits at the top of its recent range, so it is not a markdown moment.

Pros
  • Egyptian cotton, which is softer and more absorbent than standard cotton
  • 8 pieces cover washcloths, hand towels and fingertip towels
  • Machine washable cotton that holds up to regular laundering
  • Neutral, giftable set for a guest bath
Cons
  • No bath towels in the set, so it will not cover a full bathroom on its own

  • At $73.49 it is priced near the top of its recent range
  • Egyptian cotton claims vary by brand; check the label for fiber content
