It has no pile and no backing, so it lies thin and is easy to sweep or vacuum. It is listed for outdoor placement and high-traffic areas, though professional cleaning is recommended. Questions and answers

Is $159 a good price for this rug?
It is the latest best price we have, $159 at Distritech as of November 3. For a small hand-woven wool rug, that is in line with typical pricing, but check the price history for its recent low.
Can it really go outdoors?
It is listed for outdoor placement, but wool dislikes prolonged damp and direct sun. Use it on a covered porch or patio and bring it in when rain is expected.
Does it need a rug pad?
Yes. It has no backing and no non-slip layer, so a thin pad keeps it from sliding on wood, tile or concrete.
What size is it?
It is 24 by 36 inches, a 2x3 accent size. It suits a doorway or beside a bed, not a living room seating area.
How do I clean it?
The maker recommends professional rug cleaning only. For routine care, vacuum without a beater bar and blot spills promptly.
What is in the box?
The rug itself. No pad or backing is included.
