Is the Vitamix Drink Machine Two Speed worth it for home use?

It makes sense if you blend smoothies or frozen drinks often and want commercial-style power with simple controls. For general cooking tasks like soups and nut butters, a variable-speed Vitamix gives more control for similar money.

How is it different from a standard Vitamix?

It has only two speeds and no pulse or variable dial, aimed at fast drink blending. Standard Vitamix models offer a variable speed dial and preset programs for more varied recipes.

Does it have a pulse function?

No. It has two speed settings and no pulse, so you control texture by switching between the two speeds and using the tamper.

What comes in the box?

The blender, a 64 oz Tritan jar and a tamper. The wet blade assembly is part of the jar setup.

When is the best time to buy it?

Only one store lists it new at $549.99 as of November 4, 2026, so there is little price competition. Watch for holiday sales at Walmart, when blenders often see temporary cuts.
